Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Bahrain Q1 2023

The first quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top navigation and maps apps on the Android platform in Bahrain. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers insights into weekly downloads and revenue for these apps.

Google Earth experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads. Starting from 284 downloads in the last week of December 2022, the app saw a peak of 462 downloads in the week of March 13, before slightly dropping to 325 downloads in the last week of March.

HERE WeGo: Maps & Navigation also showed a positive trend in downloads. The app began the quarter with 259 downloads and reached its highest point with 468 downloads in the week of March 13. By the end of March, downloads slightly decreased to 297.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation demonstrated fluctuating download numbers. Initial downloads were at 381 in the last week of December, with a notable peak of 386 in the week of January 23. However, the app experienced a decline towards the end of the quarter, finishing with 183 downloads in the last week of March. Revenue for this app remained modest, ranging from $3 to $16 throughout the quarter.

Navigation for Google Maps Go saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from 115 in the last week of December 2022 and peaking at 572 in the week of March 13. The app maintained a strong performance, ending the quarter with 402 downloads.

JESR | جسر had an impressive surge in downloads in the middle of the quarter. Starting with 145 downloads in the last week of December, the app saw an extraordinary increase to 1481 downloads in the week of March 6. Although downloads decreased to 109 by the end of March, the mid-quarter peak was a significant highlight.
